Donation Engine is the fundraising capability Unborrowed is developing for institutional platforms that need a more coherent path from story to support. It is not currently a standalone or finished software product.
The design problem
The hardest click should not lead to the weakest page.
A prospective donor can arrive moved by the mission, then meet a generic form that drops the story, explains no consequence and begins no durable relationship.
The problem is larger than payment processing. It is the break between conviction, confidence, action and what the institution learns next.
Donation Engine is being designed to close that break within an appropriate Institutional Authority engagement.

Donation Engine will sit beneath Institutional Authority when an engagement requires fundraising infrastructure. FAD is helping define the first implementation. No public performance claims will be made before the system exists and results can be measured.
